Why Visit Klein Curaçao?
Klein Curaçao (meaning “Little Curaçao”) is a secluded, uninhabited island located about 15 miles southeast of Curaçao. Known for its:

How to Get There
Most visitors take a day trip via boat charter from Curaçao. In our video, we show the full journey — from the early morning departure to the scenic boat ride and, of course, the dramatic arrival at the island. Be ready for a bit of a bumpy ride (we talk about that also in our video 😉), but trust us—it’s worth it!
There are many boat charters you can choose from, we went with Mermaid Boat Tours and they were amazing—friendly crew, beautiful views, and and tasty beach side food. The highlight was their private beach area, perfect for relaxing and swimming.
What to Do on Klein Curaçao
Here’s what we explored in our video:
Snorkeling: The waters around the island are vibrant and full of marine life.
Lighthouse & Shipwrecks: Walk inland to see the haunting remains of the old lighthouse and rusting shipwrecks.
Beach Time: The untouched beach stretches as far as the eye can see—perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
Swimming & Underwater Views: The water is so clear—it’s perfect for swimming, and we even captured some amazing underwater shots in the video!
Tips for Your Visit
Arrive early - most boat tours leave around 6:45 AM in the morning!
Pack sunscreen—shade is limited!
Bring snorkeling gear if it’s not included in your tour.
Stay hydrated—the sun can be intense.
Most tours include lunch and soft drinks, but do check in advance.
